View from the hereafter on the earth and the moon.

the first paintings I made this year, next to the bigger one (dec 2009) on which I'm still working. The first one was a try out which I didn't put on this blog. I wanted to improve some older paintings with the same idea (from 2006 and 2008).

This is the 2nd one. you see all the spheres, temples, homes and nature of the spheres. There are 7 dark spheres and 7 light spheres

The last one of the summer series. I made this one as a present for a good friend of mine. The colours are better divided than the 2nd one. lest best. Schmincke pastel

Art exhibition in Volendam, the Netherlands

Every year there's an art exhibition in Volendam. I participated a couple of times before in the amateur section. As well this time, though I climbed the ladder a bit and shared a space for the 2nd time with another artist. This years theme was "youth" in which they promoted young (amateur) artists. It's in the same weekend as "Volendammer dag", a special day with a lot of local activities on the dijk.
